前置詞の持つイメージ
名詞ごとに使う前置詞が決まっているわけではなく、使うイメージによって付く前置詞は都度変わる

- on …（線に）接する、支える
- in …包まれている、囲まれている、広い空間（空間の中で自由に何かできる、空間に対して主導権を持っている）
- at …点、ピンポイント
I like the light on the ceiling in your room.
部屋の中に一緒にいて （主導権を持って動き回り） 話しているイメージになる
I liked the light on the ceiling at your room.
過去形にすると部屋の中にいるイメージではなく、遠くから見ているイメージになる
※onは「～の上」と説明される場合が多いが、「上」に限らず「何かに接している」イメージである
How did you come here? I changed trains at Tennoji.
天王寺という場所（ピンポイント）で乗り換えた
Tenmnoji is on the Midosuji, JR, and Kintetsu lines.

focus on …焦点を合わせる、重点を置く（何かの上に基礎を置くイメージ）
at the same time …同時に、同じ時点でというポイントを指している
look at …一点のポイントを見る
get in a taxi …タクシーという空間の中で（自由に動き回り）何かをするイメージ
get on a [train/bus] …[電車/バス]に接した状態で（特に何もせず）移動するイメージ
in a relationship …交際し（自由に動き回り） 何かをするイメージ
※ 日本語に訳して考えると共感できないイメージもあるが、英語の前置詞の持つイメージを身につけておくこと
