覚えている(状態動詞)

思い出す(動作動詞)
各用法は文法上は区別がつかない。
文意、一緒によく使われる単語などから見分ける。
■Remember(覚えている)
I remember all of my classmates.
He remembers that I was in the same room that day.
He remembers me being in the same room that day. (SVOC)
Remember to lock the door before you leave school.
remember + ~ing
~したことを覚えている(過去)
remember + to 不定詞
~することを覚えている(未来)
■Remember(思い出す) ≒ recall(意識的に思い出す) ※remindはちょっとニュアンスが違う
I can’t remember the name of that TV show.
I can’t recall the name of that TV show.
Tony just remembered he left his car key in his apartment room.
Tony recall he left his car key in his apartment room.
Tony remembered that leaving his car key in his apartment room. ~したことを思い出す

■Remember(自然に覚える) ≒ memorize(意識的に覚える)
